TLL Santas deliver Christmas a bit early
On April 25, 31 brothers of Tau Lambda Lambda chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity and the
Christmas in April Charles County program, along with the ladies of Zeta Phi Beta and Bay-
CSS, showed up bright-eyed and bushy-tailed to work on three separate homes in Waldorf, Md.
A break from the norm as one home is usually the focal point of home-improvement efforts.
The work at the various residences for the day included landscaping, carpentry, and painting.

started in 1990 so that, in partnership with the community, volunteers are able to help rehabilitate
the houses of low-income homeowners, elderly and disabled, so that they may continue to live in
warmth, safety and independence.
Bay Community Support Services, Inc. (Bay-CSS) has been providing services to people with

When speaking about Christmas in April, Tony Hill, the chapter's social action committee
chairman, said, “as a police officer, I give back to the community every day, but this event
allows me to give back collectively with my fraternity brothers”.
TLL chapter serves Calvert, Charles and St. Mary's counties through various programs that uplift
One home-owner, Mashawn Smith, stated that she was “super excited and very appreciative of
the work that’s being done and the services that are being provided”.
